Despite the struggles we have endured over the last six months, we get a glimpse into the wonderful power of Christ working around us.
There is no doubt that we are tired and ready for the end of our current circumstance. I know I am.
It’s even tougher when you are battling through work, school or family stresses. While we are struggling, we still have hope.
Paul encourages us to,
“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”Romans 12:12
It may seem counterintuitive for us to be patient in affliction, but we can be hopeful in midst of our struggles.
The secret weapon for believers during times of struggle or hurting is hope, joy and prayer. We don’t have to have it all figured out, but the hope we have during difficult times is powerful.
God is not absent in our struggle, He is right there with us.
Paul went through dark days, and was burden by thorns of the flesh, but God was right there with him. God said my grace is sufficient.
I can’t help but hear God tell me when I am struggling or filled with anxiety — my grace is sufficient.
Today, may you feel His power, strength, joy, and hope during your tough moments. Let Christ whisper in your ear when you are experiencing your toughest moments – my grace is sufficient for you.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for today. Give me strength during my tough moments, wisdom to make the right choices, and joy to be an example for those around me. Amen!
